bios loaded but wont work right !!!!

ok so i have no idea what i am doing i have a friend who is good at comp. working on my xbox. we loaded the bios on his xbox then installed the chip. turned on the xbox and i got the cool start up and then i could config. the chip and change all the colors. so i did all of that and then rebot to dash......... here comes the prob. when i do that it goes to a screen. now i dont know what i am doing .... so i am going to tell you what screen it goes to.
if you dont have a disk in an non mod xbox.. it has that globe thing spining....that screen!
so i push L, R, start,and Back ........it just reloads.

If i have a game in and i press L, R, start,and Back the game reloads..... help me !

this part not making sence
L R start back are in game resets and if you do not have a dash install should not work not 100% on this have not tryed with out dash

i have the chip active and i have a game in the dvd drive and i am playing the game, when i press L & R & START & BACK it reloads the game
when i dont have a game in the dvd and i press L & R & START & BACK it reloads the screen that i was on..... i cant get avalaunch to load........ i go the the screen to put the dash's in order and avalaunch is first...... so i rebot to dash and i go to the screen with the globe (no disk in a non moded xbox)

That just means you haven't named the BIOS bank in X3CL.
You really need to do some reading.

I am confused what screens you are talking about. You are not making sense.
If you can not get into avalaunch or a dashboard... install the dashboard properly.
If you can get to a dashboard by selecting boot to dashboard, theres no problem. Configure your bios some more.

You reboot to dash if you are in X3CL.
If you want it to boot directly to your dashboard, disable autostart to Config Live.
To get back into X3CL, hold the white button during bootup.

Note: Don't set a password for lastest bios.

We told you what to do, but thats if we understood you 'problem'...
Don't put a disc in and it should boot to a dashboard if it is installed...

idk this guy did it on his xbox ... he swaped hd put all the stuff on my new hd off my old one flashed the bios and said install the chip and have fun........

Obviously you have no idea what you are doing since you did nothing...
Get your friend to finish the job...?

Or try an Auto Installer and that should do everything for you...

so when i got to the Dashboard Boot Priority.......... screen
Avalaunch
is there..........
it is #1
then xboxdash...
but it skips Avalaunch and goes strait to xboxdash.... so i moved xboxdash and put evoxdash and it just goes to xboxdash... so what i am trying to say is that xboxdash is the only thing working !

ps. is xboxdash the globe thing ????? i think so
