Ok Am very new to this game so please answer in detail ..I have the x3 modchip installed and working ..I get the 3.0.1 screen Now its time to load x3 3029 bios which I have got from mirc Made a dummy file 100mg burned it to cd rw memorex ...Go to 3.0.1 screen and and pick load bios from disc ..Then my rom cd shows but it says no bios found halting ...And I went threw all the troble shooting for this matter its my forth day working on this and I cant get it to work ..I checked everthing the 5 switches in front 1 on 2 on 3off 4off 5off ..

is the actual switch on the chip itself set to flashprotect??? (green led when the xbox is on), if it is then change the led on the chip is red then try. but it still sounds to me like you burned the cd wrong, try finding a tutorial for nero 6 and use that. nero works great for me

. hope this helps...Yes I checked the the switch its was one of the things I did when I was troble shotting I did my reading before I posted anything up I spent the first 3 days just reading forms and websites ..But maybe I did burn the cd wrong I used nero burning rom 6 ..And did did step by step as shown in the pic on the site but the version in the pic is the old version of nero so maybe theres some thing am missing ...

ok so it seems you have nero 6 like me... ill post my settings in a sec and then you can check them over and let me know. give me 5 minutes .

In the label screen shot mine was checked on manuel not automatic and in the burn screen shot the simlution box was not checked in mine ..And it was set at disc at once not track at once ..

ye just name it bios, its already a .bin file so you dont need the add the file extension on there yourself.
just name that dummy, it should change them into caps when you drag them into the place ready to be copied to the cd, thats if all the settings are correct and assuming they are like mine then they are.
sorry, desolate_one, for jumping in but just want to help baller3571 a little. Baller, do you have your xbox hooked up to a router or have a crossover cable at your disposal? http flash is the way to go.
