hi, i just installed a x3 chip and i can get to the flash bios screen (this means that the solder is good, correct?) but when i try to flash the x3 bios it goes through the normal process were the bios is flashed then the xbox shuts down as normal. this is were it gets different. when you restart the xbox as instructed it powers up twice and then starts fragging. i'm not sure what is wrong.

Set switches to on on off off (flash protect off) . Try booting the chip.
If no luck, leave switches as is and boot the backup BIOS. reflash the chip with the above switch settings.

That happen to me ,you flashed with the wrong bios ,use the right bios for your xbox and reflash again from the back-bios

im just wondering cuz m$ called me this week and im going to their HQ to go and playtest something for 2 days this weekend... just trying to do a little snooping to try to figure out what it is before i go in :lol:
