Bios problems with X3CE

I am new to the modding world. I'd like to start off by saying that. Another thing, I bought my system Premodded. Not sure if that makes me any less of a mod person...but hey. To the meat of the issue.
The premod system that I purchased came with the Xecuter 3CE chip already installed. Just no bios. No matter what I try, I cannot get a Bios installed. I have tried http, because, well, it is easier. All to no avail. I am sure that since there is no bios, the LCD will not work either. So I am not too suprised by that. It is rather frustrating and I have been working on it all day. Since about 10:30 this morning, and it is now 9:00 pm. Still, no progress. I have the xbox open, I can admire the chip...look at it...touch it...yet not be able to enjoy it's full beauty. If anyone can help me with this, I will name my first born after you...

That might be much...but man...I need all the help I can get for this thing.

Another issue. There is an LED on the chip. From what I am to understand, that LED should be red in order to Flash a bios. I cannot get it to do anything but stay green. I guess I have got to be the most xbox incapable person on here. Gotta love the 21st century.

man i am just like you i dont know jack about this type of thing all i no is i got my buddy to make me a bios cd and i put it in and it started loading the yellow bar went across and then the green bar started and it stop and it just froze up on me mod chip told me that i had a bad bios cd and for me to boot and ree do it but how do i boot the thing i cant even get it back on the flish bios screen what do i set the swetchs on because what i had them on to get to the flishbios screen the first time i put them back and all it do is blink 2 or 3 times and then nothing
