i just got a mod chip (X3) an i took it to someone to get soldered(i am suposed to get it back tommorrow). i am just wondering, as soon as i get it back, do i put 1959 right on it? or do i put flash bios on there, then 1959. i am a bit confused with what to put on there 1st. also do i need to put flash bios on there? and what are the advantages of installing flash bios?

if you have an 1.6 or 1.6b then you may have to put the flashbios on there before you flash the 1959 bios.

if you have an 1.0-1.5 just flash 1959 bios on it and install your dash and apps.

so would i put flash bios in band 1234 and 1959 on 5678 ?

Conductive glue for LiteOn 93450c

Hi, just wandering where I can get the special conductive glue to patch up traces on my Xbox 360 LiteOn 93450c?

It was suppose to come bundled with the CK3 Probe 2 but it wasn't. Then i heard Xecuter hasn't released the glue yet.

What type of glue is it and where can i get it from? I heard on the web theres several types but some better than others. Which one is the best?

I live in Australia.

Cheers

Is the whole process easy to do? I mean i have the jungleflasher tutorial but is there a reliable video somewhere on this? Especially the cutting part.

the cutting is easy just use an exacto knife then you can use a multi meter to check the lines to ensure there is no conductivity.

Funny. Yesterday you posted that reattaching the traces was not fun (ie. difficult??)

it wasn't fun but still easy compared to some of the other stuff I have had to solder.

Re: Conductive glue for LiteOn 93450c

Hey guys, i got the parts in to read the firmware but i stuffed up and cut the wrong trace....i then cut it at the right place but the drive would not go into vendor mode?? Is that because it was cut incorrectly? Can i still save the drive? I need a video tutorial on how to do this using the CK3 probe V2. Anything out there?
