Bios trouble?

Ok i just got my xbox back with a 2.6 CE installed. Now i flashed the bios, in bank 2 and it did everything then shutdown like it said it should but now when i start it up it goes to the Flashbios screen, it doesn't load up evox.

Am i doing something wrong?

Also i had a xenium already installed and used the same bios as i did for that, so i know the bios works.

Why are you using an Evox bios? You should be using 5035.

Im using the X2.4983.BIOS

Should i be using a different one? And if so, if i do have to use another can i just flash the new one and it will overrite the older one i flashed?

I have flashed it to both banks w/ flash protect off. But whenever i hit the power button it still just boots to the flashbios screen.

Ok im stumped. I've tried 3 different bios's the last being x2 5035. No matter how i flash it wheter it is via http or disc, everytime it flashes and then shuts down it still loads the damn flashbios screen.

I have a version 1.0 xbox. I have the chip enabled (clearly), flash protect is off, bank set to 1/2.

Is there just something im doing wrong? Someone suggested trying a 1MB bios, would that help?

Don't use a 1 meg bios, there is no need. If you read the flashbios hint in my sig, and that didn't help my guess is that your bank selector switch may be bad. Try flipping it a few times, and while you are flipping it push back lightly on the black part of the switch.
