I have a X3 chip, 1.6 box, flashbios 3.0.0. Now each time I buy a new game I always install my games on my xbox and put the originals away so they dont get scratched, but recenly I have found that some of the games I install to xbox havent been loading, going by the infomation that I have given on my xbox is there anything that I need to update?

How are they not loading? Do you get an error message?

Try adjusting your playback regions in the dash before you start the failing game. If it works, then there is your problem.

If by "not loading" you mean Xbox Live, then your out of luck, you'll have to use your originals. That protection is there for......well, your protection.

Ok, do and try the region thing I talked about. Your problem is way too vague. Tell me more details. BIOS, dashboard, the non-working games....

I had a problem a bit like that, backed up some of my games on the G drive and some of them wouldn't work but when I copied them over to the F drive they worked, maybe got nothing to do with your problem but just another thing to try

ok I've flashed bios with X3 3294 v16plus (bank settings on, on, off, off, off), which seems to have gone ok, but it still shows as flashbios 3.0.0

try downgrading the bios to 3108, that's what bios I'm on and I've got GTA3 San Andreas playing off my hdd.

Ah, San Andreas. If you would have said that in the first place, I could have had it fixed already! :) There is a whole topic dedicated to the interesting "new copy protection" used in it.

Also, frazzyscot, it is not a BIOS problem if San Andreas is not working. Its usually a configuration problem in the dash or BIOS. I would always update to the latest BIOS in almost every situation. I use UnleashX and latest X3 BIOS, and I haven't had a single problem. I didn't have to adjust any settings. Same with XBMC. Evox, on the other hand, f**ked it up. Its seems to revolve aroud the dash you use, to me at least. See if this helped.

Are you sure it went correctly? If it did, then FlashBIOS wouldn't show up anymore. Check that the chip isn't write protected on both the physical chip and the switch, and that you flash the BIOS to the correct banks (which it seems like you did). Post back with your results.
