Black and white screen with some color stripes

Hey, i just bought my 360 and when i conected it to the TV, the screen only looks black and white , sometimes a color line appears, like it's gonna change to color, it's a NTSC console, same as the TV...it's so weird, does anybody know why? or had the same problem? Thank you!!

Check the HD switch on the video cable.

the HD switch is on TV, i changed the console to another TV and it worked fine, but the thing is, i have 2 xboxs and one of them works just fine in this tv but the other doesn't it's weird. I've tried changing the configuration and all that, but nothing really happend.Thank u

probably got a faulty video cable and/or GPU

but the thing is, i put my XBOX on this tv and it works, i put the other one and it doesn't , then i change the one that doesn't work to another TV and it works fine.I don't know, i don't think it's the GPU.thanks

sounds like the video cables, some TVS cope better with bad cables than others, try another cable, conicedentally are you using component, composite VGA?
