Black Screen after nintendo logo 2.9.4

I upgraded to 2.9.4 because 2.9.0 was giving me a black screen after the nintendo logo but running into the same issues with 2.9.4

I have the latest nintendo fw.

Can anyone help? thanks!
if I disable emunand it boots into CFW.

Is this normal?

I shouldn't have to disable emunand to be able to boot...
