I have a new xbox360 jtagged whit nand-x tool and new freeboot 12611 but....
After replacing the heatsink on the GPU with a more powerful thermalright hr-03 I turn on the console but the screen stays black.
I noticed that the heatsink does a lot of pressure on two capacitors, so I thought it was the problem, can be?
Please help me! :(

Can you tell me if this problem can be caused by capacitors? I have 2 capacitors very tense

Also check the make sure you didn't scratch the underside of the motherboard when you took the Xclamps off. I did this on my freshly jtagged console and got the black screen, though Xell would boot. Thankfully it was in a non-essential area.

All I did was loosen the bolt a little then apply some clear nail varnish to the scratched surface, and when I put the console back together all was good.

Heemmm it could be the heat sink should not be putting pressure on capacitors how are you managing that one cant see how you should be doing that it could also be a cold solder joint on the GPU.
What error code are you getting as in secondary Error code ?
My console is new... before of change heatsink was good.

when i start it, i get 1 green light whit DVD player connect and 1 green light flashing when don't

Its a long shot, but turn the unit off, press and hold the sync button and turn the xbox on whilst still holding the sync button, until it boots (if it does)

Ive had this before when changing a heatsink for my brothers friend, turned out to be a cold solder joint under the gpu. My thoughts were that the board might of flexed a little when removing the board from the chassis and when removing the gpu heatsink. Reflow worked for me.

If the capacitors are shorting out against the heatsink then you should get either 1 or 3 red lights.

First things first, try writing the original NAND and see if the console boots the old dash!

i have jtagged console whit jtag tool v2.50 whit only 1 "badblock 250 bd".
This tool automatic remap badblock? indeed it has launch the new dash and i have configured new setting. So i thought everything was good and after configured new setting i have turn off console.
Then i have simply change heatsink and this damned change have stopped my output video/sound :(

ps: i have jtagged console whit alternative point for easy insert heatsink on the motherboard
