ok, i got the thing up n running. now im getting the green led on the coolrunner(it was the stb clk not connected)
tried many different loops and positions for the blue wire and still nothing on hdmi or av. it seems to be trying to glitch. loaded trinity.xsvf via nandx to cr.
matching dumps, even checked by reflashing to stock nand and playing a game so i know its good. no bad blocks under the 50 range(256 actually). built .ecc with multiv4 and v3. is it STILL the damn blue wire?
btw this was mfr date of 7/20/11, has anyone done one this new? im hoping its just something im doing wrong and not some weird hardware change thats unkown as of yet. solder points are checked and verified with multimeter.
btw, i used the alternate point for cpu rst, went rom unerneath to up top, b4 that i had a red dot and it was bricked. i tried running my blue wire from up top and underneath, still no luck. green cr led blinks every 5 secs and the console green blinks rapidly.
thanks to all who help, i appreciate it.

i glitched a slim from july without any problem theres no hardware change besides the corona board but you would no easliy because the points wouldnt be the same,

more than likely it is your soldering, if the coolrunner is programmed correctly try swtiching to fat even if it is a slim i have heard of people only getting it to work on fat

multibuilder works fine i only use it so it cant be that, i would double tripple check your wiring

and mess more with the blue wire

team x is releasing a new qsb pcb for slims for the blue wire specifically maybe you could pick on eup when they are released and give it a shot it is definitely worth a try

Not to hijack - but I thought the wire lengths were just to decrease/increase boot times, I didn't think that the length would prevent it from booting into XeLL?

out of interest - where did you get the trinity coolrunner file from?

also make sure that the wires soldered to the coolrunner aren't wrapped tight near the +3.3v line - this can prevent the glitch from taking off

vgc repairs. i also moved the 3.3v line well out of the way of the blue. could the cpu-stby be causing an issue? i had to go from the pad near hana to the trace and put a 50ohm(didnt have 33) resistor in line. i then soldered to the correct side of the resistor. both pads were gone when i got it back from the "PRO", what a dumbass....
i know with the stby taken off the grn light will not flash, nor will it with the rst. i tested these just out of curiousity

u can see how i did the cpu rst in the "alternate slim points" thread up top. i jumpered from below to up top, then came off of the lower wire, made my loop, then to CR

so in summary, you've never got this to glitch and in the meantime managed to screw the console up along the way.

Flash your NAND back (first 50 blocks) and make sure it still boots.

If it does, re-flash the ecc and try booting with the CR set to 'phat'.

thanks martin, yes u are correct. i chased down a problem that didnt exist and bricked it. since then i have repaired it tho. i can flash stock back to it and play games, its fine. i just cant get it to glitch. will try reflashing.ecc. just tried writing xsvf back to CR
