Hey i get a black screen when i flash my original NAND back to xbox. What would be the problem? i also got the same with xell and also xbr + xell built into xbr.
yeah I know have had it happen a couple times to me.xenons though can get rrod from just removing them from the metal case.
Youll be surprised how many times people dont!! And the many people who try jtagging a non-exploitable console!well of course, after writing to the nand you should always fully remove all cables and wait. then plug back in and boot.
Yea i compared files no errors. You mention you dumped the NAND 3 times and there no errors, but did you compare the dumps in nandcompare to see if there any mismatching blocks?
Did you run the NAND dumps through any apps or just flashed it back to the console in the original form they were dumped?
Did you try to boot xell by using the eject button or the power button?
Oh yea everything was together getting the secondary error code but when i found out it was the GPU overheating i took off the heatsink and turned it on for 3 seconds and touched it and it was red hot and then turned it off immediately. what is causing this overheating? its real hot which i know is not normal.Eh! Did you use thermal paste, bolt on the heat sinks, put everything in the metal case including the fans and turn it on with it? Not just plug the board on its own with no fans, etc.
No it has no HDMI.stupid question but have you got the AV cable plugged out
are you connecting your xenon using HDMI because xcell doesnt support HDMI
turning the xbox on without heatsink or thermal paste is a big no no sounds like its fubar'd mate now
another 1 for the bin eh
