Blank Screen After Flash X3 - SOLDER LPC 13 & 14 CORRECT
This is in followup to the above sticky, closed thread...

I have the blank screen problem with a solderless xaptr adapter on my 1.6b xbox.

The LED lights on the adapter suggest that everything is fine, but I still get the blank screen after flashing X3.

My question is, can you solder the xaptr pins onto the back of the motherboard, like you would with regular pins, to ensure a good connection?

Instead of soldering your Xapter, use the pinheader and the pcb rebuild that came with your chip. Remember that Xapter is a solderless adapter so it's meant to be unsoldered.

Yes, that is what I did.

I soldered the chip in and now it works fine...I wonder what gives with the xaptr...
