blank screen flashing green red lights on eject

I'm a begginer and just bought my own xbox and these componets and have these installed, a 1.6a ,x3 ce with a soderless xapt3r vi.6, also installed a control panal with screen and buttons. Right now, the xbox will only show bios flash screen with 2,3,4 buttons pushed, with button 1 pushed will try to start and shutdown 3 times, then eject light flashes green/red, no sound or picture. I tried to flash when I thought button 1 and 2 were pressed read this ona bunch of websites, use bios 1959 installe dto DVD, dummy file labled 100mb rename bios, Bios.bin, did have problems with it recongnizing it also, xbox will also booot regular into regular mode, rechecked all the wires that are on the wireless install making really good contact. Does anyone know how to correct my problem about bank 1 so I can reuse 1 and 2 if this is how you would do it.

Okay, with the X3 mod chip there really is no reason to try and burn a bios cd. Team Xecuter has taken the time to code very nice flash bios. It's much easier to simply use the "http" flash option. Simply get the bios you want to flash on your pc hard drive. Connect your xbox through a router or directly to your pc. Make sure your internet is working. Once you select the "http" flash mode, simply type the ip you see on your xbox into your internet explorer address bar and you should end up at a screen asking you to select the bios you want to flash with. It does not actually matter what buttons you have pressed in on your cp, it should give you an option as to what banks you would like to flash the bios too. If not, simply flash it whereever you can and then use the X3CL to reflash the banks you want flashed. Also 1959 bios are alittle "old" now, look for the newest X3 bios, on xecuters homepage you will see the "latest bios release" I think it's 3294. As long as you can get the flash bios to work, you'll be just fine. Once you have a working bios on you chip, make sure you flash your backup rom with the proper flash bios, incase you ever **** up your bios you can reflash. good luck

Not quite right, it really DOES matter which buttons you have pushed in. If you select anything other than a 1Mb bios bank you will have trouble. 2 things. Make sure you select a 1Mb bank and make sure you are using the correct version of the bios. i.e. the "regular" or the "super"

Xbox v1.0-1.5 use the regular bios filename = X3_3294.bin
Xbox 1.6a/b/c use the the V16 bios filename = X3_3294_v16plus.bin

You can continue to burn it to Cd if you choose or use the above mentioned Http method. Tutorial can be found here

*edit* If you are using CD's some brands don't work, so trial and error may need to be used to find one that works for your xbox. They are all different... annoying i know. CD-RW's work better than cd-r's and DVD's work better again.

these helped but if i get a good bios installed can i erase the bad one on 1,2 spot think i can put in spot 2 on only these post are really helping

its fixed rookio is a genus he talked my son through the fix would recommend him to any one that needs a mod or theirs fixed just had to re flash the 1,2 bank was so easy

I have a Xbox v1.6b and a X3 modchip installed. I loaded the incorrect bios (x3_3294.bin instead of the x3_3294 v16plus.bin). I had to load it to the Bank5678 because the Bank1234 does not load the FlashBios blue screen. When I turn it on it frags. Now I don't know how to reload the correct bios. I tried the backup pressing power and eject but it shows the led in purple but the eject led goes from green to orange and still like that.
