Blank Screen with X3_1957... Frag with X2_4983 ????

Fitted chip everything seems o.k. Flashed with X31957 bios to both banks, tried various combos but get blank screen with sound. When flashing everything seemed fine with orange/ green alternating.

Checked pins 13 and 14 for continuity, metered them and they are good to points at top of lpc and to chip thus proving solder points are sound.

Tried a flash with a reliable bios (x2-4983) in order to further elimate pins 13/14 and i get flashing red/green frag ?? This bios is sound as i have used it in past.

Totally lost as to what to do next any ideas anyone ??

which file to burn?

hey im using xbox backup creator to back up my games and i was wondering which of the files i should select when writing the disc after the disc image has been made. the two files are the .dvd file and the .iso file.

which should i write to the dual layer dvd?

click the dvd file atleast thats what ive been doing with imgburn but i think its the same.

p.s use imgburn! dont use anything else! seroiusly its better anyone that uses it would say that, and its true!

100% agreed with above.

only use imgburn
and click the dvd file

this will insert the layer break for the 360 backups to work

yeah really use imgburn its works like a charm but i also found out that u dont need a dL burner to burn games i just have a dvd burner and it still works

Yeah would,nt u need a DL burner to burn DL games.

my computer is like 2 years old, it sjust got some weird philips drive in, if u look on the front plate thing somewhere it should say DL
