Blaster 360 backup to HD

Hi to everyone that can help, total newbie to the xbox, searched lots,lots of different forums and found nothing on making a backup of my original 360 games with my installed Blaster 360 to my PC HD, My Xbox Samsung drive is flashed with latest firmware. PC: I have Xp pro, MSI P4M890M atx MB, 2 sata, latest Via drivers, various HD,etc. I have XBC latest installed.What else do I need. Any help appreciated.

most of us use a sh-d162c dvd drive (it goes in the computer) to do our backups.then xbc v2.5 to dump the game

Thanks for the reply cofree, I already do that, just thought I`d try to use the blaster the advert for it say`s you can do backups with it, I presume thru the sata connection. Thanks again.

Yes, it is so that you can use your samsung drive for creating backups. However, if you are using iXtreme, you will not be able to create backups with it. The blaster will only help you in making it easier to update your firmware.
