Blaster 360 Hitachi 47 prob

I am as newb as they get but followed directions on installing to a tee (even added hitachi fix adapter)and double checked cords as well, but when finished I hooked up 360 and got error 65. Now my question is should I flash this drive so it will work or if I havent done anything it should at least boot to dashboard. And if I shouldnt flash would do you think could be the problem?

take the blaster off and just flash with out.at this point i think you should go back orig just to get it playing.then flash without the blaster.
once you have that down then put the blaster on and do it again.

ive never liked the quick fix for the v1 blaster.there is a v2 blaster out now that may be better.dont get me wrong i have a blaster on both of my v28 drives and love it.

Yup, love the Blaster. Looks good on my modded console as the Glowing green illumination matches the LEDs etc I got on the box. But it makes flashing so easy!
