Hi People

I am very new to the world off Xbox360 Mods so I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I have just fitted the new Blaster360, however I was unaware that you needed a Molex Power Supply.

I was also unaware you needed a cable to connect the 360 to the PC (would a USB 2 USB cable do)???

I have looked around and unable to locate the answer to this.

Would it be possible for someone to advise me on the Molex Power Supply & cable to connect to the PC just so I know I am doing things correct.

Thanks for your time

i dont think that a usb will work as windows will have to reconise what you are connecting in i would recommend using a sata cable anyway. you need a cable to update the firmware from your pc where u downloaded it and to you xbox 360 although on this website they seem to say that you can use the xbox 360 usb but im guessing there talking bout using a flash drive to update firmware http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3630

Thanks for the reply

I have now worked it out, the new Blaster dose not need a Molex Power Supply (DOH) just hope I can send that back. I would still like to know on a true 100% instruction book on how to operate the Blaster and what software to use for connection.

Thanks for to the people for helping me out

Thanks replicant69

At present I am away from home, So I will try this when i get back. The problem I am going to have is my PC is a Dell which opens sideways, I am going to have to have the PC on its side and half open to connect a SATA cable to the main board (DOH). This will be a pain, however I get this working It will be worth it (I hope).

Would you know I got my XBOX on the day off it was shipped to the shops, would you know what Drive this will have????

Thanks

Thats no different from anyone else. Personally the Blaster didnt work for me, I just opened the side of my pc, sat the xbox on the internal lip of the pc case to ground it and plugged in the cables and flashed that way.

Everything you need is in the tutorials.... when you get your xbox eject the drive and see what you have, the tuts will show you the pics to determine which drive it is and tell you what you need to do from there.

Good luck! :)
