Blaster CK3, probe3, 0251

Hi.
I have the Liteon 74850c updated to 0251.
I just have to get the key from that Liteon (which has problems), and replace with a Samsung.
Someone told me to buy a Blaster ck3 (not the pro), and now i have it. Then I bought the Probe3.
Thought to probe on the R707 but still Bad serial data.

My question is: is it possible to get the key using the parts I have bought?
I find guides for the blaster ck3, and other guides for the probe3 (but using the usbpro).
Very frustrating. Please help.

replace the lite on with a liteon...the samsung wont work at all with any ap2.5 games
spoofing between different drives is no longer supported
and you probe mpx01 point NOT r707... the guides show the usbpro, but the method is the same

Sure I tried to find answers form the net and from this site, before writing here.

About the procedure: the probe3 comes with a cable with a switch. If I connect that cable, the blaster CK3 (not the pro) will be not connected. If I use the cable of the blaster ck3, I have the plug for the probe (if it could be good for the probe3) but NO switch. So how I connect the probe?

My drive is 74850C, that solution (posted for the 93450) is still good for me?

I tried. Phatkey failed.

- ck3 connected USB to pc (aldo tried without)
- liteon connected SATA to blaster ck3 (also tried directly pc-liteon)
- Probe3
- cable modified with switch on 3,3v (pin6)
- liteon in vendor mode (also tried without)

Always phatkey failed. Tried to wait 1 sec, 5 sec, 20 sec... tried in all possible ways.
What can I do? Pls help!

(the xbox is not mine, it's my son's... daddy, when the hell may I play?)

you dont need to use the usb from blaster ck3 just the sata connection
lite-on should not be in vendor mode

What do you have as far as sata connection (if you are not using a usbpro or via pci card)
are you sure your sata chipset is compatible

are you following the PMT method? click phatkey when window pops up clicking yes then shut the switch off you added on the 3.3v then right back on and leaving the probe touched to MPX01 until you get Serial flash found with Status 0x52 then remove probe

Yep the procedure is the one I used.
When I pick the mxp point JF opens the popup (switch off, wait 5 sec...), I remove the probe, switch off the dvd (with the same switch) for 5 sec, then release.
Until here everything seems to be good.
But when pushing the button on that popup, I get "Phatkey failed".

My PC has VIA PT880 chipset.

your series of events does not sound right.

you should
1. click phatkey
2. touch probe to MPX01 and leave it touched to MPX01
3. click yes to popup window
4. turn switch that you add to 3.3v to off
5. turn switch that you added to 3.3v right back on
6. wait till Jungle Flasher says Serial found with Status 0x52
7. Remove probe from MPX01

I tried the yours, which is in fact different from JF messages and the guides I found, anyway: Phatkey failed.
Pls give ideas.

In the past I had issues with via chipsets. I would go with a x360usb pro and you won't have any issues. You can even flash from your laptop if you wanted to.

Is this the first time you are trying to get the key off the drive?

Also I wonder if your flash is bad.

Is the drive showing up in jungleflasher prior to attempting phatkey (under drive properties)

There may be driver issues with the via chipset you are using.

your sure Jungle Flasher said Serial status found with 0x52?
after you did that did you get a popup window that said extract complete?
then before you click yes to that window you need to switch 3.3v added switch off then back on then click yes
