I purchased the Blaster CK3 and installed it before I realized I needed the Xecuter LT Switch for my Liteon 93450c Drive. I plan to buy the Xecuter LT Switch Enhance Version, but first I have a few questions.

I noticed that there is a switch for Normal Mode and the R/W Mode for the LT switch.

Question 1: Will I have to open the Xbox360 everytime I want to flash the drive? If so it defeats the purpose of the Blaster CK3 I purchased.

Question 2: Can the switch be reached with out opening the Xbox with a small tool?

Question 3a: Is there a way to modify the Blaster CK3 with the Xecuter LT Switch to funtion as one unit, to eliminate opening the Xbox again?

Question 3b: Or can the LT Switch be modified to be reached from the exterior of the Xbox360.

Question 4: It seams have to open the Xbox install the switch. Then attach the Blaster CK3 while Xbox is open to flash/dump the drive. Is this correct? You someone could supply a line by line instructions for this product with the 93450c drive and the Xecuter LT Switch it would be very much appreciated.

Question 5: Is there a better switch to use with the Blaster CK3?

Note: This is my first time trying this and therefore I am bound to run into snags. I would like to learn all I can and make a tutorial specifically for this drive. Please help me in any way you can.

Thank You

Thank You for the quick reply.

I suppose I need to figure a way to modify the switch to have access from the out side of the Xbox 360. Any ideas on how to do so?

mate - once you dump the drive - you then have the OFW - you no longer EVER need to open the box again! you have the key info - so you never need open it again - erase flash whatever fw you like! (as you have blaster ck3)

Thanks BraveH43. So if I purchace the Probe V2 I would just have to use it once, awsome. I think I might still purchace the LT Switch but I need a better reason than a one time use.

Question: Is the LT Switch obsolete? What would be the benefit to purchasing the LT Switch vs the Probe V2? Other than the obvious that the probe can be used on more than one machine.

I read posts regarding the same thing in a semi-conflicting way by saying that "without switch on, drive does not enter to vendor mode...", as a newbie, I wonder that whether

1-Vendor mode is required for only for getting drive key, means switch is a one time thing--OR
2-vendor mode required for every flash update, you need to open box when you desire to flash (with a newer version etc) which makes switch and blaster duo as half compatible in terms of the way they operate.

if the first one is true I guess you don't need to hassle with led and switch modification,
if second is correct switch and leds should be modified and move outside the box (which is a comparable effort in terms both tech knowledge and hand skill to switch installation, if you don't count the surface mount parts)

my question follows (sorry if you feel as if I am stealing your threat but I do believe my question is quite similar to yours)
which one is true 1 or 2?
do I have to open the box every time I decide to version upgrade?

thanks for any help
thanks for trying to keep up with my post, I am not a native speaker of your language

neither.

Once you have the key you never have to open up the Xbox again (if you use a Blaster) - and you have to put the drive into vendor mode every time you flash - but you can do that via software once you have the key.

There is no conflicting info :)

The instructions on doing it are very clear m8 http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53231

Thank you so much, its a big relief to hear that, and I am quite embarrassed to miss the information that is in the first line of the guide.

Did you get your 93450c working? Do you remember if the DVD was pre or post August 09? My 93450c is post august and I am told that there is no way to get the key as of now! The IT- switch did you get it to work? Also will Madden 11, run on it? Thanks

Hi, all.
As lcnaas, I purchased the Blaster CK3 and then I realize that I have the Liteon 93450c Drive.
I read guides and topics but I confused which product should I get now.
Do I only need the Probe v2, to get the key? After that I m done or i need LT Clip and LT Switch as well? I want to install this and never have to open it again.
Is there any other solution without V cuts and soldering?

Thank you

no thats the only way to do it. You would have to open your xbox 360 to reflash it but not do any sodering. Though you can always send it to a pro to not have to work about if you screw it up.
