OK, I have searched and have read many posts about this problem, but have been unable to determine a solution.

I installed my X3 in my 1.6 xbox (pin headder), with the LPC rebuild board. When I power on the box tries to boot 3 times then I get one green flash one red flash then it blinks orange and the fan goes crazy fast and I can't trun the box off without unplugging it.

Both blue LEDs are on, the switch pannel works, my video cable IS plugged in.

I have been trying to test my connections with a meter but due to the rebuild board being in the way I can't see where some of the traces go.

Any info on how to fix or track the problem would be appreciated. I am almost convinced that it is my soldering but I am unsure how to check ti when most of the traces seem to be under the rebuild board.

Thanks!!

So I desoldered the LPC rebuild PCB and broke a trace in the process. Repaired the trace, and rebuilt the LPC with wires and all is good now!!!
