Blood spattered Xbox 360

I finished my custom Xbox 360 a while ago, but I just wanted to show it off.
It's glitched, has a custom rol, led fan, red leds and ccfl's and smoke red plexiglass.
It's a falcon which means it glitches immediately, but the temps are ok too. The cpu doesn't exceed 50 degrees and the gpu just reaches 60 degrees after 3 hours of playing black ops.

(there is a switch on the back to turn off al the leds)

Please leave a message ;)

very nice, out of curiosity why the ccfl instead of led's (not really a case mod guy, i just swap rol leds sometimes for people)
Good question. The ccfl's look great from the side grill, but might be a little bit too bright. That's why I made an off/on switch. When i turn the ccfl's off the leds from the fan just shine bright. (like a diamond...:p) So you can choose yourself what you want. CCFL's or leds, but your question is probably why i didn't use a led strip.

Simple answer. I still had those ccfl's and led strips would have cost more. :p

@zryth,
I just put a jumper on the dvd drive connector so it doesn't flash. :p

Thanks for the nice comments btw!

I actually never tried it on my slim since it still has a dvd drive. (dual nand setup) But I guess it works the same. You have to bridge pin 4 and 6 of the dvd drive header. you can do this by using a pc jumper or soldering the connections together on the back of your motherboard.

This is how i did it. (Sorry not my picture. I just used google images)

I do custom controllers and trust me if you change or paint the guide button and get rid of that crappy one the controller will look really sharp just like the xbox does

Thanks for the compliment! I actually also want to replace the dpad and joysticks, but I never took the time to order them since the shipping cost to the Netherlands are often ridiculous...:(

It works on slims. I have it done to my trinity that has no dvd drive in it. Op nice job.
Thanks for conforming it!

Jumping the dvd rom like that...what does it do? I understand u have crapped out dvd roms....but...does this jumping method allow u to update the 360 firmware with out out it connected or something?

Got any spare jumpers? The ones on eBay only come in packs of loads :(
You dont have any sata pc hdds or ide dvd roms or any thing like that u or a friend might have laying around?

I got mine from on old motherboard that was gathering dust. :p You could also try visisting a local pc store. They mostly have stuff like that around and will probably give them to you for free.

No, it's actually just to prevent the power led from blinking. When there is no dvd drive the power led keeps blinking. When you bridge pin number 4 and 6 the xbox thinks a dvd drive is connected and stops blinking.
