blue led on chip stays on

HI,
I have a 1.6 xbox with a 2.6 chip. I installed the chip flashed the bios and have got avalauch running. The thing is that the blue light on the chip stays on constantly, even when the xbox is off. Also the left most led on the switch stays on. Is this normal. I have installed like 3 other 2.6 chips but never on a 1.6 box. Is this normal ? I can't remember this happening with the other installs.

Did you remove pin #6 on the pin header before installing, if not...then just cut it and use the red wire that goes to the alt 5V...check the installation tuts on the homepage...

Hey thanks islander! I started the install thinking I had a earlier xbox. When I realized it was a v1.6 I switched over and didn't recheck the tut carefully. Read carefully kids.
