Lite-On LT Question
I have the Lite-On 83850C Ver. 1 drive. I have removed the stock drive and it is still stock. All I have done is extracted the keys. I have replacement Lite-On drives, same model, version, and hardware version as the original stock drive which I plan to use so that I will always have the original drive. This way, I will always be able to extract the original keys. My question is this: If I flash one of these other drives with LT, will I have to use the MRA hack to update the LT firmware on the drive in the future? Or is that only a problem if you do not have the original stock drive?
