Whoa !! slow down. From what you wrote, I understand that you are trying update bios from a disk that you have created, you are using stock controller and that you have set the cp as on on off off off am I correct?

I'm sure you have read it but I want to make sure you have read the tutorial carefully: http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/cd.htm.

To help us further in helping you, please let us know what version xbox you have and what bios you are trying to install. Do you have it networked? etc..

so you have flash protection off as indicated by the last "off". Now you also told me that you created a disk containing the hacked xecuter bios, am I correct? What version? v1959? v2913? v2914? have you rename the bios to "bios.bin" before burning and also put a dummy.bin? You haven't told me what version of bios you are using.

Dont you guys take the time to listen? :)

He cant select how to load it... IE his controller isn't working (I believe)

Some people have had this problem. I personally have had it to - I was using original stock OEM controller... however, I had two of them. I dont know why it makes a difference... but I tried switching the part that plugs into the xbox (Not the controller itself) and used my second controller and that worked. Some people also have luck using the DVD remote with a dongle in the back. If that dont work... try another controller.

bochase1, try another controller eventhough you have a stock controller. For some unknown reason, the ones with part # starts with "X8" tend to have more problem then ones with "X9" (part # is on the label on back of controller)
