Hi all,
Hope someone can help I am at the end of my tether.

I'm using a 32gb fat32 card with an out of the box switch no firmware updates at all.

Put boot.dat on card and booted successfully into boot screen.

Backed up Nand and saved to PC

Launched into custom firmware all ok, got license request file and got license and added to card. Next boot went straight to nintendo logo and black screen. Removed license file got the boot screen back and created a Emunand on SD card not partition.
Boot screen showed Emunand disabled so took card out and put license file back in, again booted straight to nintendo screen. Now all I get is boot.dat errors and cannot get back to boot screen I have tried the below

Removed license file
Removed Emunand
Re-formated SD card fat32 And put fresh boot.dat 3.0.3
Tried another card 8gb fat32 3.0.3
Re formatted to exfat
Tried 2.9.2 on both exfat and fat32

All resulted in boot.dat error

I'm at a loss and cannot get back to boot

Any help would be appreciated

what OS? I've had a few problems after updating to 10.1.0, you might have to wait for the next SX update or try another sd card

Would hope its not a fake as I bought it from a target and my the O.S would be low as I had done no updates out of the box. Not sure what firmware it was on though unfortunately didn't check.
Thanks everyone for your responses, finally figured it out, seems that when I was pushing the card in and out the screw holding down the Sdcard reader must of moved and dislodged the connector pulled the back off and reconnected worked first try.
