BOOT help!

I need some advice or help in booting EvoX. I have just moded an 1.4 xbox with 2.6ce chip. I flashed the chip with X2 4983_06 mb 1 bios by http method on bank 2 of the chip. I have followed a tutorial in creating a Evox boot disc boot MS dashboard keeps not recognizeing it. The xbox startup boots like regular with xecuter logo on bottom thans goes to MS dashborad.? help plz
