boot maker 5.3

I`m sorry if this has already been covered.I`ve been looking at xtreme bootmaker 5.3 can someone just clear a few things.
1) if i want to flash a ms28 (bad flash) or ms25 what check boxes need to be ticked
2)do i need to enter the serial number
3)all the firmware is in 1 rar file how do i select 5.2b?
4)also do i still need to replace the samread,xbox 360 sam & keycheck files.
sorry to be a pain it just i`ve only ever used v3.6

1) You can check all the boxes and it should flash an ms25 or an ms28 with ease.

2) You can just enter any number combination, it doesnt need to be your serial number. XBM simply puts your Xtreme firmware of choice in that directory, ready to be patched. I think there may be an option to use it with multiple drives so that you dont have to enter the s/n (not sure, havent used it)

3) It should either look in the rar file for the Xtreme firmwares, or you extract the archive and then select Xtrem5.2b.bin

4) No, XBM 5.3 does not use x360sam, keycheck or samread. It uses a new batch file (xRead) and samtool, an all in one version/key check/copy program.

Hopefully someone who has used this release can help you a little more.
