boot ms dashboard, thats the wrong one.

Ok, I put my excuter 2.6 ce in a 1.2/1.3 xbox and it worked perfect untill i took it out to show a friend how i installed it. After i put it in it booted straight to the ms dashboard. I thought ok maybe i put the d0 in the wrong hole, i did. i put it in the right hole this time. didn't fix it. A friend said maybe it lost the bios.....could that be it? The light come on everything works except it boot to the wrong dashboard. anyhelp i would apreciate.

solderless is it well all i can say solder the thing in
it not installed right recheck install

A chip doesn't just "loose the bios". As mentioned above you have a problem with your install.
