RGH Boot prob. with coolrunner on 14719

I RGH a slim pre 14719 and everything went fine for me so I am familiar with the process.

I programmed the coolrunner using NAND-X over j-runner build 266, to RGH a console on 14719. Then I connected it to the board and checked the soldering which looked nice.

I set the coolrunner to NOR and turn the console on. From my previous experience I know it should boot fine, however it didn't. I set the coolrunner back to PRG and it boots fine. Is this normal on 14716.

I got 2 matched nand on j-runner should I proceed with writing the ECC file??

NOTE: I tried another coolrunner that I know is working 100% but still the same issue .

14716, you mean 14717... and I don't think that dash is exploitable yet. You'll have to wait til RGH 2.0 comes out. Although JR has support for patching that dash, RGH 2.0 is the only you'll be able to retrieve keys.

j-runner can now create an ecc for slims on that dash

I am aware of the new release. So I should not worry about it not booting with CR installed and set to NOR

Can you post pictures of your install?, when set to NOR does CR have red LED lit?

It is normal. Don't worry. With CR attached, it should boot stock dash on prog (CR disabled). On "Nor" (CR enabled), it won't boot until you write the ECC and then the hacked image.

That is since 14917 only ... as it used to boot with CR programmed connected and set to NOR

That's why it confused me

I wrote ECC got the key and everything went fine
