Hi!

First I'd like to point out that I'm a complete noob when it comes to Xbox and modding thereof so please excute my lack of knowledge and talk to me as you would to your grandpa. :)

The other day I bought a used Xbox 360 with a 120GB hdd. When I plugged it in I saw a wierd little thing sitting in the USB port on the backside but didn't think much of it, just wanted to confirm that it was working. After getting fed up with the noise I decided to pick it appart to see how much dust was in it. To my great suprise I discovered it was modded with ****. I sat down with Google too find out what it was and how to use it. Assuming it had been done correctly I jumped right on it. Here is my procedure:

  1. Copy one of my games to get an ISO
  2. Run it trough abgx360
  3. Prepare a thumb drive
    - Format to NTFS
    - Make a folder calles GAMES
    - Place a .cfg file in root as per instructions
    - Place the verified ISO in GAMES
  4. Plug the drive in the **** module at the back of the console
  5. Start Xbox
  6. Eject the tray trough the menu and have it close on it's own. (not actually opening)
  7. Have "mixed media cd" show up
  8. Browse it with the music app and see the game
  9. Rage because "eject tray to load.mp3" doesn't show up and ejecting the tray at this stage does nothing.

So basically that's where I'm at. I don't know how this works, does abgx360 patch the file to make "eject tray to load.mp3" show up in the menu?

Thankful for any help, the issue might be painfully obvious and I might be missing something crucial as I have no idea how this works.

Regards,
Mattis

EDIT: Seems like I've written something forbidden, my sincerest apology if I've done something not allowed.

I'm assuming u have a x-k-3-y. Which is not a TX product. Sorry but no support on here.

That reply in itself was of great help because now I can narrow down the problem to that product. My assumption of abgx360 doing something to the ISO was false.

Thank you!

maybe you should go ask these types on questions on the forum of the product you are using, they did have one , not sure if it still exists though
