Brand new slim E power supply Red Light? WTF

Just bought new power supply for the slim, a generic power supply. Without even connecting it to the Xbox, the light is red. Anyone have a similar finding with these or this one just faulty? Perhaps the light error codes are the wrong way around?

Yeah, i have one that is the same. Its normal. The internal fan on it is also loud as all get out. Have fun with that.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I got some cheap Chinese knock-off (it was 20 bucks cheaper). Turns out that 20 bucks made a huge difference. As soon as I started using the PSU, the fan's bearings started to go. I ended up taking the original fan out and soldering a computer fan in there. It runs allot smoother now.
