The location of the firmware won't affect JF detecting the drive, so right now it doesn't really matter. If you can't vouch for the boards working before you get them, that might actually be the issue

Hello again sorry for the late reply, did a clean install last night with only jf running with no luck all drive boards are still undetected, what else is there i can try i think im at the end of the road with these boards.
could i send you 1 to try just out of curiousity if it works you can keep?
ill have to go back to ebay and stock up on more boards until i can sort this problem
its fine when flashing from stock, i just cant seem to get back to stock from lt+ (STRANGE)

Have you tried the bad-flash method with a Probe 3/PMT?

ok, looked at the jf tutorial and have tried that with x360 pro i notice that their using a via 6421, i have a via pci card shall i try with that rather than the x360 pro ? also i have tried this post for badfash http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63946.
with no luck.

The X360USB Pro is probably the best to use with the bad-flash methods.

Road for these boards as there is no more I can try it's just strange
How I can flash from stock to lt+ but can't return to stock for updates.
Just glad I can buy from eBay for £2 each it's just a pain in the ass keep swapping
Boards.
