Hi!

I'm in the same point with the same problem. I've been following this thread and I want to participate.

I already have the X360USB Pro and I had only 0x80 status. I thought when the 2nd bank stop flashing and jungleflasher froze the device died by a electrical failure, it happened to me once and I had to replace the unit because I can extract the key before the failure.

With the 9504 the problem it's worst I must mod another unit for the Slim because I have the key. Big problem.

I managed to get the drive in vendor mode.

Serial flash found with Status 0x72

Sending Device ID request to port 0x9C00

after it writes it fails in the verification, anyone have any ideas??

try it and see, i had a lite-on 74850c do the same to me but when i put it in the xbox it worked ok, it's wrote the firmware to the drive but just failed on verifying, if it doesn't work then repeat what you did before.

After this if i switch the drive off and back on it reads as no drive detected in jungle flasher. I will try connecting in the xbox and see what happens. The manufacture date in July 2010 on the drive, you think it can be a mislabeled 0225 drive??

i doubt it as it's writen to the drive, what drive firmware did it say it had in jungleflasher.

it was the 9504 firmware, i tried putting it in the xbox, nothing, any ideas? I think i will just have to wait till my usb pro is delivered and then try, if i get the same result i guess i will have to buy a new drive and flash the key on there. thanks for you input

yeh that's the best thing to do,as long as you have your key you will be fine, there's nothing wrong with your drive so no need to buy a new one, the X360USB pro will sort it out, fantastic bit of kit.

I wouldn't push your luck sr20sti i'd hold off for the X360USB pro buddy before you end up with no drive..

hello people ive the same error, x360usb pro gives 0x80 and motherboard gives 0x7F or 0xFF status, the damn thing i did was that i accidently flashed with 0272 fw instead of 0225u and then it broke....

i tried probe 3 on mxp01 and nothing

please help

I'll you got to do is send the drive to vendor mode, turn off ck3 off and back on in less that 1 second and you will see it will work. If you wait to much to turn it back on it will not work. For this to work, you must have USBX360.
