broken cable?

during the install of my X3 the eject reset wires were pinched and one of them broke, is it possible to run the box without these wires?

not that im aware of, if you managed to solder the x3 and have it working it shouldnt be too big of a problem to do a solder splice with the wire in question.

yes you do NOT need those wires, but you wont have the external switch or the ability to change bios banks...itll be the default 1mb on banks 1234 i think....you wont see the hdd/lan activity either so dont bother soldering those wires....try and contact your reseller though maybe theyll get ya a new set.....or you could always splice it back yourself like fretster said

hes talking about the solderless reset/eject board if im reading it right, not the external switch. And i think you can solder those wires as shown in the original x3 guides before it was anouced solderless.
