LITEON 0225 Broken drive???

Hi

Got a 4gb slim today with a broken drive doesnt eject in the console. Doesnt eject when i use ck3 lite.
And jungle flasher doesnt detect it when i hook it up, with the xusbpro.

Guy I got it off said his kids grabbed the tray when it was out, he managed to get it to close but now wont open?

No signs of damage to the pcb (key extraction).

Any ideas????

Just doing that now. All seems ok no broken wires, no broken components as far as i can tell.

Have tested parst of the pcb with a multi meter, i am getting voltage at the pcb plug and on the yellow wire(mgnd) and on the green wire(tray in) and on the white wire(tray out). But nothing on the red and black wires.

If jf doesn't detect its sounds damaged PCB not just teeth on runners is it a winbond

Not sure what type as it doesnt show up at all.
Just says no drive detected.
I dosnt even make a noise when you power up the ck3lite.

But there is power getting to the board as ive tested that (see above).

Is it winbond?? Has someone tried unlocking?
Where have you tried testing for power and what readings have you had
point it out for me
Or you can send ill transplant the ic to a good board

The chip is still intact as is all the epoxy over the legs. So i dont think so, but as it came from somebody els I cant be sure.

Getting voltage on the bottom of the white power plug. Also voltage on the green, white and yellow cables the other side of the pcb.

r6 and r1 and c6 are they getting contineuity

tell me the voltages to the colour in the pic
near my thumb
blue = 3.3
red=4.9
yellow=3.3

away my thumb
blue =1.18
red=3.3
yellow=1.18

green is gnd

Quick update on this dvd drive, i found the damaged resistor R1. As it was a 0 ohm resistor I have removed it and bridged the to points on the pcb. And it works. To be on the safe side as im not sure how long it will last I have read the dummy.bin for it and I am going to order a replacement unlocked pcb.

Seems alot of people are having trouble with these 225 drives burning out this R1 resistor, and its not even needed.
