Broken External Switch

Hi!
My External Switch to my X3 is in heaven I think. My X3 and external switch is only 3 weeks old..
After 3 weeks of playing on my with X3 x-box v1.6 my external switch just don´t work... I didn´t touch anything and when I wanted to play again it didn´t go no light at all from the switch.. Need a new... But the chip works cuz it comes blue light from the chip when i start my x-box.. But i can´t play anything.. Need some help now where i can get a new one on the garanty...
i´m not good at english but i hope you understand me..

Garanty = Garanti on swedish

PLZ NEED HEEELLPP FAST

I have another question 2...
Can i bypass it some how?? cuz i have evoX as 2mb bios..

you don't need the ext. switch. you can just unplug it from the x3.

Those 3 wires then that you solder in lan HDD and led... Don´t i need 2 unplug them 2 cuz i tried unplug ext, switch but i didn´t work..

no, don't unplug them. the grey wire is your d0 point and you have to have it or your x3 will not boot with the x3 enabled. the red and green wires are for the lan and hdd lights on the ext. switch.

another thing flash it with the x3 bios and forget the evox bios.

But one thing is wrong the x3 is enabled but it the dvd output button :p That led is switchng from red 2 green.. and the tv sais that i should contact support.. or something like that :p
Something is wrong... and cant do backup flash and that stuff

hold the power and eject buttons in and you should see the backup flashbios screen. from there you can reflash with the x3_1959.bin bios file.

dosen´t work
I tried that before.. and I checked the soldering and it was good..
Some other tip?

All I can say is to recheck all your soldering and resolder and also check the d0 point, it may have come loose or a bad solder joint.

Other than that I don't know.

Most of the fragging(flashing red and green) problems are due to bad soldering.

your switch may not be broken, you said the chip itself lights up but the switch doesn't? annd you can't get it to boot? look closely at the chip and make sure there's 2 lights lit up. I had the same problem my first attempt, chip lit up but switch didn't work and it wouldn't boot... it was my 3V connection. your solders may look mint but still may be no good..
