Hi All.

I've experienced a bit of a disaster in the Xbox firmware stakes I think.
I have a Hitachi 47 drive which I thought I flashed ok to LT1.1. The dash is now 2.0.13604.0. I have the drive key for this. However sticking this back into my Xbox and the drive wont eject anymore. I think this is now broken as I have tried all attempts to get the drive to eject.
So I have obtained a Samsung drive which was taken from a RROD xbox flashed to Ixtreme 1.5. I figured I could spoof the Samsung drive as a Hitachi 47 with the new LT2.01 firmware. I aint worried about going online.
I used Jungleflasher and with a X360usb and ck3i, I attempted to flash the Samsung drive using the manual spoofing to add the Hitachi drive key, Loaded the target firmware as the LT2.01 bin file. Everything reports back from Jungleflasher as ok, but rebuilding the Samsung drive back into the xbox, it doesnt work. Have I done everything ok?
Thanks in advance

Get a Hitachi replacement drive, spoofing isn't supported in LT firmwares not to mention that it will most likely result in errors whenever you try and update.

Ahh I see. Thanks. I'll get a replacement Hitachi 47 drive. Am assuming I need to stick the old drive key into the new one then as a manual spoof?

Hi

I've got my replacement Hitachi Drive now and I've put LT1.1 on. Switching on my Xbox now and the drive ejects! hurrah. However when I put a Backup in, I get the play DVD instead of the backup. This goes to the white Xbox 360 screen and thats about it.
I have read I might have used the wrong DVD key - how can this be???
Anyone help? Thanks in advance

Its an old backup so its not a XGD3 disc.
How could I have used the wrong key? I have the original Hitachi drive?
I obtained the key by using Junglesflasher, send to mode b, dump drive, read to source to obtain the HIT-OFW.bin file and used this drive key? Is this correct? Or do I obtain the drive key a different way?

Have bought the new 47 Hitachi drive, and added the drive key from the broken one and thats where I can only play DVD. Meaning the drive key from the broken drive is somehow the wrong one. How can I get the correct one?
