Hi all don’t know if anyone can help ?
I have auto rcm mode enabled and have found out my sd card is not working.
I now know it’s the pins on the motherboard what has snapped ,the card slot is fine .
Is there any way to get the rcm mode off because as the switch is turning on its looking for the boot data file .
But like I say it won’t find it because the sd card slot is knackered.
Is it for the rubbish bin .
Cheers

You can push hekate with tegraRCMgui from your computer to boot. You can turn it off from there.

No problem. If you are not running 8.0 yet, you can try the SX Tools payload.bin. You push that via tegraRCMgui. You can grab it from the SX OS site.

Wouldn't a new motherboard be patched against the fusee gelee exploit?
I would assume nintendo would give patched motherboards.

the unfortunate best option would be for this person to just buy a new switch that's exploitable. that or find someone that repairs or mods switch units as a hobby / job.

they can probably find a way to back up the save data using hacdiskmount if they backed up their switch nand sometime before the issue (or maybe hacdiskmount works with the physical connect to switch?)

Nowhere
i havent looked into what it entails but i would think soldering in a new sd card port should be easy for someone like me and a ton of others here.

ok so from what I can make out you have 3 pins missing, I cant see any damage to the tracks or points so should be an easy fix for someone with soldering skills. Where in UK are you located and someone local may be able to help you out.
