LITEON 0225 Broken TX pcb possible?

Hi all,
i have a problem with my friend's tx pcb.
Some months ago his driver's laser brakes and we buy another laser to change the broken one.
When it arrives we insert it in the drive, but drive doesn't want to read any kind of discs, backup or originals!!
You can hear the disc spinning, but on screen always remain written "open tray"... so we try to re-write lt+2.0 several times, always clicking 2-3 times outro button at the end of the procedure. But nothing to do, the drive doesn't want to read any kind of disk! Some days ago we try to re-install original console pcb, solding it, and console now work well!! but obviously only with original games!! Ant idea? is a pcb problem? might we buy another tx pcb?

have you try to hard wire the tx pcb.and not use the no solder block.

Have you removed the anti static ball from the laser if you haven't this could be why it won't read originals or backups

YES WE ALSO DID THIS...BUT TX PCB DOESN'T WORK...

But it works for a year!! it wasn' t a new TX pcb... my fried play with it from lt+1.0!! so i can't find a reason why now it doesn't work...Nobody have same problems?
