Broken X3_1959.rar file???

Yes I know I have to use winrar, but I gives an error: "Unexpected end of archive"... Already downloaded it 3 times :?
Still doesn't work... I also downloaded it on someone else's comp. and the file is corrupt there also... :evil:
I'm using Winrar 3.00, but I already managed to download the bios from somewhere else... and it worked. Maybe the problem is caused by flashfxp???

switching cd drives
I have an lite-on drive that requires way more effort than I am willing to put into modding my xbox. So I figured that I could just get another cd drive and that would work. I was just wondering if I really could do? I would preferably use a benq drive if it was possible.

You could if you are willing to be banned from XBox Live. Supposedly spoofing drives gets you flagged. If you are going to use it offline then just use a method of getting your Drive Key and injecting it into a benq drive ORIGINAL firmware, then if you need to mod the drive use flasher with the benq drive with injected Drive Key to flash the benq.

it is going to be the same amount of effort either way because you still need to get the key from the lite-on

Well the thing is that I would need to buy that probe thing for my drive, which is why I thought it would be easier. Or should I just send it to Textbook and let him do it?

buy the probe the 7 serious is cake to mod i modded plenty of 7 serious lite-on drives
