So I had SXOS 2.3 BETA, I'm on 5.0.1 OFW, I have a 4GB external Seagate HDD plugged in to dock, no emunand.
I have a lot of games on the HDD so takes a while to scan, but I noticed a bug (assume I'm not only one either ???? anyone else?) when selecting some games whilst still scanning it randomly just goes back to the Nintendo menu without the title appearing in the first slot, upgraded to v2.5 BETA and its still the same, If I go back to the Album and select the same title again and again from the SX OS title menu it finally works and selects it!?!? I found one title I tried maybe 12 times over 15mins scrolling all the way though the tiles and failed every time so I waited until it stopped scanning (ages) and then it worked!!!
From this, can I make 2 suggestions I know people have asked for all whistles and bells of functionality!!! but firstly a pretty simple button to manual scan or re-scan and dump a little snapshot database to the drive, or if that's to involved at the moment maybe a button just to stop the current scanning process immediately... I assume this happens before the selection code executes.
Plus an alternative title selection layout or paging so you don't have to scroll each one at a time to get to the title you want.
