Building NAND without KV.bin? How to fix it?

Hi guys I made a big mistake and propably lost correct nandump.bin


I have only this NAND as you can see on that picture with "too many bad blocks" and "header is wrong":


I have my CPU key and XELL saved in in my PC.

But there is problem:

I cannot extract KV.bin from that dump, so building new NAND in J-Runner always failed.

Is there some guru who can help me? Or there is no way to have xbox for retail?

If yes I will send to you nanddump.bin and complete xell from monitor COM.

jrunner didn't backup your nands when you originally read it off the xbox?

Dont mean to butt in or anything, but if you managed to get your DVD key you must have done a few steps right.

Tell us how far you got in the list of steps below:

1. Power on and test consoles functions prior to any modification.
2. Disassemble console and DUMP NAND (making sure to get 2 or more dumps to ensure good dump).
3. Writing of ECC
4. Install Device for glitching.
5. Successful glitch and CPU key dump.
6. Decryption of Nand and Xebuild completion.
7. Flashing of New Xebuild nand to xbox.

Which part of this did not happen?

I dont have my DVD key.

I only read NAND wrong and dont know about that... so healthy NAND is away..

Sorry, when I said DVD key, I meant CPU Key, I didnt even notice that typo til now.

Well then, I guess you are whats known as f****d then.

It always pays to ensure you get a good dump as you never know what will happen afterward.

He is not f'd. You simply need to build a new nand with a donor Kv. It's not difficult and there are plenty of guides out there. Console will never be retail again though.

Well, true, but like you said no more retail console, if this was done for purpose of LTU2 then its a permanent RGH now. I do have a donor KV for a Corona 4GB if you need one, I use it on blocked xbox 360 consoles, works great.
