I'm trying to get this Trinity back to RETAIL. It is the "second hand" console so I do not know the full history. Only what I know is that I got this console as non-working and found out that someone put Jasper NAND into it.

So with help of donor NAND and CR4 I ran Xell and got CPU KEY. This is how actual fusesets looks like:

Code:
fuseset 00: c0ffffffffffffff
fuseset 01: 0f0f0f0f0f0ff0f0
fuseset 02: f000000000000000
fuseset 03: ******a4fecedd24
fuseset 04: ******a4fecedd24
fuseset 05: 187416f254******
fuseset 06: 187416f254******
fuseset 07: ff00000000000000
fuseset 08: 0000000000000000
fuseset 09: 0000000000000000
fuseset 10: 0000000000000000
fuseset 11: 0000000000000000
Knowing that LDV value is 2 and cseq is 1 which should correspond to DB 14699 and therefore CB 9188, I tried to build RETAIL NAND in J-Runner using this info and KV info from a donor NAND. Wrote the image back to NAND but only what I got was the xmas tree.

I tried with lower version of DB back to 12416 but with no change. I also tried (just for curiosity) with higher version of DB which corresponds to CB 9230 but this time it gives me RRoD 0022 (which is obviously because of CB mismatch).

I tried to read through Martin's threads about LDV and such, also found several threads here on forum relating to the same issue. Reading all of that I thought it is possible to build RETAIL NAND without having anything backed up but either I still miss something or it is not possible at all.

Thanks for any advice or saving my time by telling me that I'm trying of impossible.

As far as I know, it's impossible to get that console to boot retail without the original nand, the only way to make it boot is installing RGH.

Thanks for your reply.

But after reading for example THIS topic, would not one expect that it is possible?

Or does it always assumes that you have at least RGH image in your console related to this exact console so you can read it and get KV's from this exact console which is mandatory to get RETAIL NAND working?

yes that assumes you have only rgh what ya had using all orig info, with that orig info a retail img can be built.without the original files (kv and fcrt ect) you can NOT build a retail img, period.

The only way to do it, would be swapping the CGPU and the nand, but if you don't have the right equipment is too expensive.

Just the fact a Jasper nand was written to it... I'm trying to think of a way I could even get that to work, knowing a Jasper nand (well any wrong nand for that matter) would even work in harmony and create a usable game console... I mean I know it can be done with some extreme measures, but making that Jasper nand co-operate on a slim board.. I gotta give that guy who did that some props, it must have took quiet a bit of work.

You'd need the original KV at the very least to create a retail nand without an original nand dump. I'd let that headache pass and just leave it RGH, if its working, leave it alone.

Thank you all for your replies, now it's more clear to me. Besides others (correct LDV value etc.) the original KV's is a MUST to build RETAIL (STOCK) NAND, otherwise the console is of use with RGH only.

Thread can be now closed.
