Wher can I buy this?
This one is fine.thanks for the kind offer. i may take you up on it.
i am in the US. Any idea if this one on Amazon would work?
i get free shipping, so would prefer this way. this model does not have LT at the end so i dont know. a guy in products comments from last month claims it does, but theres not much to go on. do you or anyone else know if it has to be an ST/LT?
Ok thanks.This one is fine.

You can't overburn on a regular drive so they are talking NON-sence...Ok thanks.
BTW i've been reading a tutorial (another site) on omitting burnermax and using overburn with imgburn on a regular drive. Do you know how successful this is? I'm guessing not very since few mention it on here.
I may be a little late but before posting I wanted to confirm on multiple drives and burns. I have a few laptops after using my stock dell inspiron N5050 RW drive to enable burner max payload tool I then upgraded my other 2 laptops with the same MATSHITA DVD+-RW UJ8C1 D.02 11052400 drive that is in my dell and they burn great with burnermax payload tool enabled. I noticed there were multiple MATSHITA drives that were listed as not working in this list. This particular drive DOES WORK. I hope this helps.Thought id start this since nobody else did yet, think the idea is that you add/edit as you go...
NOTE: This list is not a definitive compatibility list, it is merely compiled from the TX forum members reports, just because your burner is in the REPORTED NOT WORKING list does NOT mean you should not give it a go anyway!!
REMEMBER YOU MUST INSERT A BLANK DVD+R DL DISC BEFORE SENDING THE BURNERMAX PAYLOAD!!!
REPORTED WORKING (BurnerMAX IS enabled!)
ASUS DRW-24B1 ST/LT
ASUS DRW-24B3 ST/LT
ASUS DRW-24B5 ST/LT
LITE-ON iHAS/iHAP 122-04C
LITE-ON iHAP 122-04W
LITE-ON iHAS 322
LITE-ON iHAS x24 (A)/B/C/DU
REPORTED NOT WORKING (BurnerMAX not enabled, YET!)
LITE-ON iHAS x24 (A)/Y
NEC ND 4550A
Optiarc AD-7561S/A (physical limitations)
Thanks adrianis for the update
Here is a quote from another thread by myself I should have added here in hindsight. Why say it is working when Pioneer 111D is not. your making people spend money on drives that don`t work:mad2:
Basically this list is very misleading and many of the drives purchased are unlikely to work. When will people understand that the compatibility list is pretty much useless for a magnitude of reasons...
The date of Manufacture of the drive will likely be different to the person that posted their result, this would likely result in the drive using different componants BUT RETAINING THE SAME MODEL NO.
The amount of times I have read of people trying to get an older firmware for a drive they bought recently with the same model is crazy!!! Of course it won't work cause your probably flashing it to a smaller chip memory and likely an incompatible drive.
Why has no-one ever corrected these errors? you cannot assume all drives are like the iHAS with it's (A - Z) revisions, some drives will be called (B) throughout the course of their manufacturing cycles.
Some firms even use the same model no and give it to two totally different dives with different chipsets, If you really want to find compatible drives search for those with a Mediatek chipset and a memory large enough to hold the correct firmware and patch... OR use the confirmed Clone list, that is much easier!!!
Already in the list, but thanks for contributing. My Lite-On iHAS 124-04 [D] works with BurnerMax Payload Tool.
I got it on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Lite-On-Super-AllWrite-Layer-Drive/dp/B002YIG9AQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385427461&sr=8-1&keywords=ihas124-04
