i dont know if its the same process as clone cd but you burn the dvd file not the iso image
sucramjd, as I have said to you before you don't need to burn the .dvd file. If you set the layer break as cofree says & I have said before, it is not necessary. All the .dvd file does is tell the burning program, ie ImgBurn what settings to burn your image with. (in this case the layer break & the location of the ISO to burn)

If you do not believe me, simply open up a .dvd file (in notepad) produced by Schtrom Extract or XBC 2.5, you will see something similar to this:

Code:
LayerBreak=1913760
IMAGE1.iso
Thats it, just two lines!! Layer break speaks for itself & IMAGE1.iso is the path to the dumped game image, ie: its in the same folder as the .dvd file.

So it is not necessary. However, if you are having problems with ImgBurn, you can if you like create a .dvd file in the same folder as your game dump image. Just open up notepad and copy the above, simply replace IMAGE1.iso with whatever you named your ripped ISO to & then go to File>Save as..> Then save it as WHATEVR-YOU-WANT.dvd in the same folder as the ISO dump.

BUT may I also remind EVERYONE reading of this:

Tutorial: Backup a Backup

You shouldn't EVER need to make a copy of a backup that you own the original to. Simply dump & burn your original disc :wink:
