I opend the xbox to look at the chip and on the back between the lpc pins a trace was burnt. Do i need to buy a new chip? i installed it today and it was fragging due to a bad flash so i was tryint to hot flash it. I wan tto kno if i should buy a new chip or just the programmer please help.. thanks

If you have a burned trace on the chip, then it's the chip at fault.
You've probably blown it by connecting it wrong during the hotflash.

Well if it was me Id get the programmer, try that, and if that doesnt work I would try using a trace repair thing on the chip. If that doesnt work get a new chip... Ill buy the broken one from you.
