Hi.
Thanks for a really great product, I decided to go for the whole shebang, pro switch + lcd, but I cant get it to boot anything but the 1959 bios, unless I chooce to disable the chip in the x3 config live, then It boots the original bios.

How do I get it to boot the backup and original bios without doing this?

I got a v1.1 xbox.

it doesnt even mattter how I set the switches on the proswitch, it always boots the 1959 bios, what have I done wrong?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh, now I've managed to get the proswitch to do its job,

but how do I get the powerbutton to be able to turn of the modchip, or pressing both to enter flashbios? it just refuses to do that.

If you can only boot up with the modchip ENABLED, I suspect the daughterboard power/eject button adapter is defective. The one that shipped with one of my X3 chips is defective. You may want to check that. Mine wouldn't even power up when I had that part installed. I had to bypass it completely and run the power/eject connector right back into the motherboard. Now, it works, but I can't use the other 2 boot up modes until that part gets replaced.

hehe, I found that setting the pro switch to a invalid bios will force it to boot the backup bios, thats nice to know If I manages to mess the bios up, I've also put the v3.03 on #8 just to be able to select it myself.

Continuing to work on getting that power / power+eject button to work like it shoold.

I guess I could order another one of that daughterboard, just to bad that the shippingcost will be higher than the cost of the part.

is it possible to do a RMA to team xecuter?

I love the xecuter3, thinking of getting another box with it too.

well i made a post as well and nobody gave any hints
or crap about my Q.. but anyways..

after reading your post i thought what the heck
how tecky is that board anyways.... no components
on it really..

so here is the fix
take off the black tape on the back
where the red wire plugs into the board
check that pad.. i sorta ;p bet that is your
problem they are attached with solder and bridging
u will have to heat it up to sep the solder.
or u can try using a razor

good luck let me know.. if it helps u out atleast

Re: anybody know how to get a liteon spoofed hitachi

Yup i just did this today, I couldn't get it to work in jungle flasher though. It kept thinking it was a liteon drive when it was only spoofed as one! Anyway I ended up loading up the original firmware in 360 Tool B0x and went to Tools>Direct Drive Flash>Differential Flash (Restore). It scanned the sectors and asked if I wanted to keep the drive key and then it flashed and worked first try.
