C1D7 missing on Jasper 16mb Board. Flash Config 0x0000000

Well I posted a few weeks ago about a bad flash Config, upon closer inspection STBY_CLK was fine, and I even used a 33ohm resistor to do the alternative point repair. When I attempted to boot (with nothing connected on stock nand) I got three red rings. I reconnected everything and got a different flash Config. I noticed my C1D7 cap was gone completely (pics are on my last post) I read somewhere that this powers the nand, so how would I replace and repair this? Thanks

What was the flash config you got? A link to your other thread would be great or better yet post the images in this one.

Hello to you too. Sorry I can't jump when you ask a question but I have work and a real life.

Flash back the stock NAND and see if it boots.

Replace the cap and see if you can read/write to and from the NAND. That cap is part of the header.

Sorry man, I didn't mean to intrude, I thought I just had to quote you to get a response.

I will replace the cap, but what are the values of the cap? Could I get a replacement on amazon or ebay?

Thanks man and sorry again.

It's all good. You just came off as I was expected to reply.

I don't know if you can get one on Amazon or not. If I have time, I'll pull one from a junk board tonight and measure it and let you know. I also don't know if that is your problem or not. You should also post some current pics showing your repair and NAND reader install.

Thanks for the reply!
I have posted some pictures of my soldering
(by the way, at first i thought it was STBY_CLK, so I did a fix where you wire a resistor from FT2R2 to another point, but it made no difference, and I am using the alternate point b)

Just wanna let you know, I desoldered all the wires, and now I have 3 red rings.

That soldering is pretty rough. The CPU_PLL_BYPASS looks damaged which would cause a RRoD. What is the secondary error code?

Yeah I can understand that after seeing your soldering. With that skills I wouldnt consider trying to repair it by myself, at least not if it was important to me.

Thanks Krafter, but I don't need your help anymore, I scrapped the board and practiced my soldering on it, I got a jasper from a friend who didn't need it, I soldered very gently and I managed to RGH2 it. Thanks for all your help
