ANSWERED C1D7 smoking

Hello,

I just tried to Jtag my xbox. And now when I put the power cable in, C1D7 is sparking and smoke comes off..

I am a noob at this and did everything the tutorial said (How to JTAG your Xbox 360 and Run Homebrew). I have a Falcon motherboard.

C1D7 is not connected anyway to the cabels. Does anyone know how this could happen.

which would suggest you have a short! or your putting cable to the incorrect position!

Not Jtag but he can RGH if its a compatible board type tho.

Not to be rude mate, but this could have been answered with a simple search.

JTAG can only be done on consoles with a kernel version of 7371 or lower >>WITH<< an appropriate exploitable CB. Some consoles got sent out from M$ or were sent it for repair and have a 7367/7371 Dashboard but a (8453?) CB which means the JTAG hack cannot be performed.

RGH is a possibility, but you need to do your own research on that, or he does, to find out if this would be a feasible option.
